This is my very first photo manipulation. I'm very pleased with the results. All the photos used were taken by me, with the exception of the exhaust. This tortoise probably doesn't need those wheels for speed. Every time I put him down to take a photo, he did a runner and wow can he move!
No tortoises were harmed in the making of this image :)
This weekend was the annual Bay to Birdwood run. A day when thousands of classic cars drive from the coast to the hills finishing at the National Motor Museum.
I'm not generally into cars and I was going to get some photos for a project i'm working on (you'll see that later in the year). I was hoping to see some hotrods and big chrome exhausts. Alas, there weren't any and I ended up just taking photos of the cars in the museum. So basically I could have gone up any old day rather than dealing with the crowds of the day. Oh well live and learn!
This is a 16 page full colour booklet about the walking trails of Adelaide. This was a fun but exhausting project. I took most of the photos in one day!. Anstey Hill + Morialta + Waterfall gully in one day = sore legs!
The booklet showcases Dry Creek Linear Park, North Adelaide Mansions, Castles and Cottages, Pioneer Women's Trail and Anstey Hill (newman's nursery trail).
Download the brochure with the link below. Despite being a personal project the information is actually correct. If you find the brochure useful, please leave me a comment. I'd love to hear it!
A photorealistic (slightly sylised) vector alarm clock done in Adobe Illustrator CS3. This took me about 2.5 days. If I ever do something like this again I'll make sure there aren't many objects around to be reflected when I take the photo! What a nightmare! It is entirely blends, shapes and meshes. This was just a cheap freebie clock I got with something else. It looks much better here than it does in real life. :)
