This poster was designed as part of my Graphic Design course at TAFE.
The brief was pretty open...design an anti war poster for Amnesty International. The poster will be a full page ad in Time magazine.
I thought that a way to grab the attention of the Time magazine demographic would be to use a really vulgar image that would at least stop them as they were turning the pages. I also thought the message needed to be strong and very clear.
Grabbed this shot on my way home tonight. I was wearing my event photographer hat tonight at a networking function in the city. I had to walk through Rundle Mall on the way back to the car so I took a few shots.
This fountain is just out the front of Adelaide Arcade in Rundle Mall.
This is the second falls at Waterfall Gully in Adelaide, South Australia. It's a very easy walk up to this waterfall; maybe 15mins. Unfortunately my battery died while trying to shoot this so this was the only shot I managed to get. I'll go back some day soon to take some more shots of this and the surrounding area. It's really quite beautiful.
Taken down by the Torrens River in Adelaide South Australia. I think everyone has done this shot before but I thought I'd give it a go anyway! Just one image this one. No HDR for a change. :)
An old ruined building near the top of Anstey Hill in Tea Tree Gully, South Australia. This is part of what used to be Newman's Nursery many years ago. Severe storms in the early 1900s and a lack of funds to repair damage from these storms forced the owners to leave.
