As I was wandering around Adelaide taking photo a few weeks back I came across this alley. It's pretty grungey but somehow interesting to me. I took this photo on the day that the clipsal 500 (V8 Supercar race for those who don't know) finished and there were lots of drunk petrol heads roaming the streets. One guy standing behind a dumpster behind me was giving me particularly suspicious looks. I later realised that's because he was urinating behind that dumpster! Gross!! Does knowing that add to the grit of the photo though? :P
This is a photo of my dad at roughly the same age as my daughter is now. You can see the photo is REALLY badly damaged. Aside from the tears and discolouration you can see below, what you can't see are the millions of hairline cracks in the surface of the photo. They were tough to remove to say the least!
Grabbed this shot on my way home tonight. I was wearing my event photographer hat tonight at a networking function in the city. I had to walk through Rundle Mall on the way back to the car so I took a few shots.
This fountain is just out the front of Adelaide Arcade in Rundle Mall.
This is the second falls at Waterfall Gully in Adelaide, South Australia. It's a very easy walk up to this waterfall; maybe 15mins. Unfortunately my battery died while trying to shoot this so this was the only shot I managed to get. I'll go back some day soon to take some more shots of this and the surrounding area. It's really quite beautiful.
